Smoke Alarms
Did you know?..
-
When you’re asleep you actually lose your sense of smell..
-
A working smoke alarm will alert you if there is smoke from a fire.
-
A small fire can grow to involve an entire room in two to three minutes.
-
A working smoke alarm provides early warning and time to escape safely

Smoke alarms are one of the most pivotal safety elements to our home that can aid the sleeping occupants and alert them to fire. This is why we
check smoke alarms once every year, ensure batteries are replaced and ensure they are working correctly. Rules and regulations surrounding smoke alarms are found in the Victorian Building and Regulations 2018
(which requires smoke alarms to be installed in accordance with the Building Code of Australia).
Kiffer Electrical & Gas will make this easy for both landlord and tenant. A full report will be attached with the appropriate information needed that has ensured these smoke alarms are compliant and that your property is up to date for your peace of mind.
